Funeral homes can now quickly and easily implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate preneed leads, improve Google ranking, stream ads on various platforms and manage their website professionally – all with one marketing service. In other news, FDLIC raised its growth rates for the second time in 2023 for all new business conducted through its preneed product offerings. On average, the growth rate will increase by 0.5% or 50 basis points. The increase was applied to all new business with an effective date of October 1, 2023.
Finally, FDLIC recently hired Garret Gerdes as market center manager in Iowa and Nebraska. He attended Peru State College in Nebraska before studying mortuary science at Kansas City Kansas Community College in Kansas City, Kansas. After graduating, Gerdes spent 14 years with Love Funeral Home in Limon, Colorado, serving as a funeral director and embalmer, general manager and regional manager. In 2017, Gerdes joined Titan Medical Group in Omaha, Nebraska, as an account manager. In 2020, he became a vendor manager for Spreetail Ecommerce Accelerator.
