Homesteaders Life Company recently announced a growth rate increase of an average of 30 basis points for all new business, effective March 15, 2023.
Steve Shaffer, Homesteaders president, CEO and board chair, commented: “Based upon strategic investment decisions made over the last several years, and in conjunction with the increasing interest rate environment, we are thrilled to now offer higher growth rates on our new policies and remain in a strong position to continue to be long-term partners to our funeral home customers, agents and policy holders.”
In other news, Homesteaders held its sales recognition ceremony in January. For almost 30 years, this annual event has celebrated the exceptional service of its account executives. Senior Account Executive Bill Fisher (East Region) was named Account Executive of the Year, which recognizes the individual who best exhibits the qualities required to provide superior support to funeral home customers. Fisher was also named East Region Account Executive of the year.
