Funeral Directors Life was recently named one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in Texas for 2021. The statewide awards program was created in 2006 to identify and honor the best places of employment in Texas that benefit the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. The program is a project of Texas Monthly magazine, the Texas Association of Business, Texas SHRM and Best Companies Group.

The first part of the two-part survey process consists of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, systems, philosophies, practices and demographics, worth 25% of the total evaluation. The second part is an employee survey that measures employee experience and is worth 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determine the top companies and final rankings.

Policyholders can use the app to log into their accounts and access policy information, see payment due dates, check balances, make contact information changes and even view their contract documents.
