Plans for the 2026 NFDA Advocacy Summit are well underway, and our partners at Advocacy Associates have begun the important work of scheduling meetings with Members of Congress and their staff. If you plan to attend, now is the time to register. Timely registration is critical because meeting requests are scheduled based on who is registered and the congressional districts they represent. The sooner you register, the better NFDA and Advocacy Associates can work to ensure you have meaningful meetings with your elected officials during the Summit.
The NFDA Advocacy Summit, taking place April 15 through 17 in Washington, D.C., gives funeral service professionals the opportunity to speak directly with policymakers about the issues that affect their businesses, the families they serve and the communities they support.
Last year alone, NFDA members participated in nearly 200 meetings on Capitol Hill, helping lawmakers better understand the realities of funeral service and the impact federal policy can have on funeral homes and grieving families.
NFDA ensures every participant is prepared with issue briefings, talking points and onsite guidance so both first-time advocates and experienced participants can confidently share their perspectives.
Don’t Miss the Hotel Deadline
If you’re planning to attend, be sure to reserve your room at the Mayflower Hotel, the host hotel for the Advocacy Summit, by March 12 to receive the NFDA discounted rate.
