Have you ever thought, “Someday I’d love to present at Convention…” or “I have an idea that could help other funeral professionals”?
This is your moment.
NFDA is now accepting presentation proposals for two of the profession’s most impactful events:
- 2026 NFDA International Convention & Expo • October 25–28 • Charlotte, North Carolina
- 2026 NFDA Professional Women’s Conference • May 6–9 • St. Petersburg, Florida
Whether you’re a seasoned educator or someone who’s never stepped behind a podium before, we want to hear from you. Some of the most memorable and transformative NFDA sessions have come from first-time presenters who simply had a great idea, a fresh perspective or a story worth sharing.
Why You Should Consider Presenting
These national platforms bring together thousands of funeral professionals looking for inspiration, practical skills and new ways to serve families. If you’ve ever solved a problem in your funeral home, developed a successful process, discovered a new tool or learned something the hard way, you already have valuable knowledge that others would benefit from.
Presenters often say the experience is energizing, affirming and surprisingly fun. One past speaker shared, “The NFDA staff made the entire experience exceptional - I felt fully supported from start to finish.”
What We’re Looking For
NFDA welcomes proposals for one- or two-hour sessions in areas such as:
- Business operations
- Compliance & legal
- Consumer care
- Embalming & restorative art
- Disposition
- Innovation & technology
- Marketing & professional development
We’re especially interested in sessions that:
- Offer immediate, actionable takeaways
- Reflect forward-thinking ideas
- Bring new voices to the stage
- Inspire excellence, compassion and innovation
Accepted proposals may be considered for either Convention or the Professional Women’s Conference, depending on the topic and best audience fit.
Never Presented Before? Perfect.
NFDA strongly encourages submissions from professionals who may not see themselves as “speakers” but who care deeply about the profession and have insights to share.
If you’ve ever thought, “Someone should talk about this…”, that someone could be you.
