The competition has been fierce (and the trivia hotter than a crematory) in NFDA’s fourth annual Funeral Face Off trivia contest! We’re now down to our three semifinalist teams and getting ready for the live Wild Card Round in Chicago at the 2025 NFDA International Convention & Expo, where one lucky team will earn the final spot in the semifinals - and it could be you!

Didn’t have a chance to sign up for the preliminary rounds? Or maybe your team didn’t make it through this time? Don’t worry - there’s still a way to get in on the action!

Gather three colleagues and head to The Lounge by NFDA (located in the Expo Hall) and sign up here before at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 27, to register your team for the Wild Card Round.

Starting at 3 p.m., teams will battle it out in a lively, pub-trivia-style competition featuring questions written by American Board of Funeral Service Education faculty. Expect a mix of mortuary science knowledge and funeral-service pop culture for good measure!

The winning team from the Wild Card Round will advance to compete against our three semifinalist teams on Tuesday, October 28, at 3 p.m. in The Lounge by NFDA.

This year’s semifinalists coming out of the preliminary rounds are:

• The Return Homies: Katey Houston, Mandy Stafford and Randi Cloud
• TEAM 1: Narda Gomez, Kat Boyd and Kaylinn Winchell
• The Anubis A Team: Robin Crawford, Jack Attfield and Adrienne Barrows

Will The Return Homies reclaim their title and make another run for the championship? Or will a new team rise to the top? You’ll have to be there to find out!
