Professional Women’s Conference – Final Speaker Added to Agenda; Important Deadlines Approach

January 10, 2025

The 2025 NFDA Professional Women’s Conference, taking place May 15-18 in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM, will offer women in the funeral service profession the opportunity to learn, recharge and reconnect. With the addition of Emily  Howard to the conference agenda, this is shaping up to be one of the best funeral service events of the year! Don’t miss the January 15 deadline to apply for one of 20 David C. Baue NFDA Professional Women’s Conference Scholarships or the February 14 early-bird registration deadline.

Meet Emily

Emily is a consultant and Executive Director of Economic Forum, an association of influential leaders committed to elevating the economic vitality of Albuquerque. She also wears the hat of being a wife, mother and dedicated friend. Perfectionism is a condition with which many women struggle. At times, the pressure to be perfect can feel daunting and even lonely. Emily will offer her thoughts, ideas and personal stories of how to escape perfectionism and embrace the perfect, non-perfect person you are.

Click here to learn more about the Professional Women’s Conference agenda – highlights include a fabulous Welcome Reception sponsored by NGL, and tour and dinner of Passages international, the global leader in sustainable and eco-friendly funeral solutions. The scholarships cover registration and event fees, three-nights lodging, and up to $500 in travel reimbursement.

Applicants must be verifiably employed in funeral service or related occupations or be a student in good standing and currently attending classes at an ABSFE- or Canadian-accredited institution or program; NFDA membership is not required. Complete requirements and the application form are available online at FuneralServiceFoundation.org/Scholarship-Opportunities. Applications will be accepted from through January 15, 2025.
