Through the generosity of its donors, the Funeral Service Foundation is offering access to educational opportunities through a total 35 scholarships to three upcoming national funeral service conventions: the NFD&MA National Convention and Exposition (July 29–August 2, Atlanta), the CANA Cremation Innovation Convention (August 9– 11, Washington, D.C.), and the NFDA International Convention & Expo (September 10–13 in Las Vegas).
Now Accepting Applications: 2023 NFD&MA National Annual Convention and Exposition
The Funeral Service Foundation, in partnership with the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, is offering 10 scholarships for licensed funeral directors, embalmers, morticians, and students of funeral service to attend the NFD&MA National Annual Convention and Exposition.
Valued at up to $2,200, each scholarship covers full registration fees for the NFDMA Annual Convention & Exposition, plus three nights of lodging at a host hotel, and up to $500 in travel reimbursement.
The scholarship application is now open and closes on Sunday, June 4.
Now Accepting Applications: CANA Cremation Innovation Convention
The Funeral Service Foundation, in partnership with CANA, is offering five scholarships for licensed funeral directors, embalmers, morticians, crematory operators, cemeterians and students of funeral service to attend CANA's 105th Cremation Innovation Convention.
Valued at up to $2,200, each scholarship covers full registration fees for CANA's convention, plus three nights of lodging at a host hotel, and up to $500 in travel reimbursement.
The scholarship application is now open and closes on Thursday, June 15.
Opening Soon: 2023 NFDA International Convention & Expo
The Funeral Service Foundation, in partnership with the NFDA, is offering 20 scholarships for licensed funeral directors, interns, and apprentices licensed (or working) in the U.S. or Canada to attend the NFDA International Convention & Expo.
Valued at up to $2,200, each scholarship covers full registration fees for the NFDA Convention, plus three nights of lodging at a convention hotel, and up to $500 in travel reimbursement.
The scholarship application opens on Thursday, June 1 and closes on Wednesday, July 5.
Membership in the organization hosting the convention is not required to receive a scholarship, but the opportunity is limited to U.S. and Canadian applicants. To complete an application, candidates are asked to answer short essay questions and submit a brief video.
