Innovation Flourishes in the Expo Hall

September 22, 2022

The NFDA International Convention & Expo Convention (October 9-12 in Baltimore) features the world’s largest funeral service trade show, which means you will have a chance to check out the newest products and servoces - plus innovations from around the world - before anyone else. Trust us, you won’t want to miss what’s in store for you in the Expo Hall … and we have a new tool to help make sure you don’t miss anything!

Hours

The Expo Hall will be open October 10 and 11 from noon to 5 p.m.; and October 12 from 9 a.m. to noon.

New: Map Your Show

Don’t miss a thing in the Expo Hall with our new Map Your Show planning tool. Simply create a My Show Planner account to maximize your show experience (click the link in the upper right corner of your screen)! Creating an account allows you to:

  • Compile a must-connect-with list of exhibitors
  • Access exclusive discounts and giveaways
  • Create a list of new products you are interested in
  • Communicate with company contacts
  • Explore scheduled events
  • Save time on the show floor by focusing your approach
  • Map out your route using the online interactive floor plan
  • Increase efficiency by organizing your events and appointments all in one place

NFDA Booth Showcase

Attendees won’t want to miss special NFDA booths in the Expo Hall where they can learn about: the Pursuit of Excellence Award Program (#1049); saving time and money with NFDA Endorsed Providers (#3314); resources for connecting with consumers through Remembering A Life (#950); how to hire quality employees or find a job using NFDA’s Funeral Career Center (#3106); and staying informed with NFDA Publications (#1048).

Pause for Paws

Funeral home owners who want to discover the benefits a therapy dog can bring to their firm – and meet certified dogs and puppies-in-training – should visit the Pause for Paws booth (#1045), sponsored by Thumbies and Ultimate Canine.

Great Big Giveaway

NFDA is giving attendees a chance to win phenomenal prizes during the Great Big Giveaway on October 12. When attendees visit the booths of NFDA’s valued sponsors on Wednesday morning they will be entered to win a variety of exciting prizes, including the grand prize of a trip to the 2023 NFDA International Convention & Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Winners will be announced during the Wednesday General Session (must be present to win).

Department of Defense Booth

Defense Department officials will attend the NFDA Convention and be in booth #2706 to exchange information, demonstrate military funeral honors support and share preparation standards. Department engagement is critical to promoting Military OneSource resources in support of death care professionals, who are critical partners in providing services to military families and veterans.
