January 22, 2021

You learn something new every day!

It's true - you don't need to try very hard to learn something interesting every day. This month’s Remembering A Life community resources are all about learning, whether through social media, brochures, online resources, or a good old-fashioned book.

Use these resources and invite your families to learn something new about how they can honor a loved one and start their grief journey.

Free Social Media Toolkit

What's the quickest and easiest way to get information? Many of us go straight to the internet for the answers to our questions - yes, even when they're about death, dying and funerals. This suite of posts created exclusively for NFDA members features some of the common topics for which people may search. And it's easy to download them and use on your firm's Facebook page today!

New! For Book Lovers

On these cold winter days, there's nothing better than curling up with a hot cup of tea and a good book. The new Remembering A Life Book Club features hand-selected titles that will comfort, inspire and educate people who are grieving the death of someone they love. Recommended reading, book reviews and discussion prompts help guide readers, whether they hold an in-person or virtual book club (we even provide a how-to for starting one!), or simply want to personally reflect on what they've read. We're thrilled to launch this great new resource for the families you serve! You can even start a book club of your own in your funeral home or community!
