ComfortZone Camp is happy to announce they have added a Comfort Zone at Home virtual support group to the calendar. If you’ve served a family with children who may be struggling with grief, you may wish to make they aware of this opportunity.
The 2021 February Comfort Zone at Home Support Group is an opportunity for campers ages 10-17 (age 18 if the child is still in high school) who have experienced the death of a parent, guardian, sibling, or friend to connect with others, share stories and discuss coping skills. Sessions take place virtually via Zoom. Parents and guardians of campers are invited to attend and participate in a group for adults.
Dates: Thursday evenings – February 4, 11, 18, and 25
Time: 7-8:30 p.m. ET
Registration is now open and space is limited. Parents and guardians can click this link - https://comfortzonecamp.campintouch.com/ui/forms/application/camper/App - to begin the application process. Please note: children and adults are not enrolled in camp until the screening process is complete and the family has received an acceptance email.
