You expect the very best education when you attend the NFDA International Convention & Expo. While our event may be virtual this year, the education is the best it's ever been - and it's more affordable than ever! In fact, members can earn up to 9 CE credits at this year’s Convention & Expo for just $199 (additional staff from the same firm can register for only $99). (Nonmembers can register for $248; additional staff can register for $129.)
Here’s how:
1. Attend nine sessions. First, you’ll need to take full advantage of the education sessions being offered. There are 18 workshops being offered over six time blocks, so you’ll need to choose one of the three concurrent workshop sessions offered during each block (for a total of six). Second, there are three keynote speakers (one each day) and their sessions are each worth one CE credit (for a total of three).
2. Log into the virtual event using your own unique email address. This step tells the virtual platform that you’ve entered the session. If you’re watching as a group on one computer, only the email attached to that computer will be recorded. So, if you need CE credit, you will need to be logged in as an individual with a unique email address.
3. Attend the entire session. Your time in the session will be logged by the virtual platform. You must be logged in for at least 50 minutes to qualify for CE credit.
4. Really, attend the entire session. At the end of each session, attendees will receive a unique code to enter into their workshop evaluation to confirm they have participated in the session.
5. Make sure the sessions you attend are approved for CE by your state. While NFDA does its best to secure CE approval for all its education programs, credit for specific workshops or keynotes may be denied by, or pending in, your state. NFDA keeps a list of the latest CE approvals for Convention. NFDA is constantly updating this list, but attendees are responsible for making sure the courses they take are approved by their state.
All registered Convention attendees will receive a video tutorial explaining how to complete session evaluations, including how to enter the unique codes they receive.
And, with a total of 9 CE hours available, the member registration fee of $199 breaks out to less than $23 per credit hour, making the NFDA Convention more affordable than ever.
