The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards (The Conference) will host an Item Writing/Review Workshop for the National Board Exam (NBE) and is looking for participants. The workshop, during which you can help shape the NBE, will take place June 10-13 near Minneapolis, Minn.

To be eligible, candidates must have previously passed the NBE and be currently licensed as a funeral director and embalmer (with license in good standing). Educators are welcome to apply.

While this is a voluntary role, The Conference will cover travel costs, meals and lodging for selected participants. Please keep in mind that spots are limited and The Conference looks for a wide range of experience and demographics when selecting participants. Training is provided, so previous knowledge/experience in exam development is not required.
