Restlawn Memorial Park (Wausau) recently announced a significant addition to its memorial grounds: The Christmas Box Angel of Hope bronze statue. In collaboration with the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin, Restlawn will establish a serene and poignant area within the cemetery to house the Angel of Hope. The statue will stand on a beautiful granite base bearing the names of the project’s major donors. Nestled in a tranquil corner of the cemetery, this site will serve as a communal space where people from all walks of life can find solace and hope.

Based on the best-selling novel by Richard Paul Evans, the Angel of Hope is a symbol of resilience and hope for parents who have endured the tragic loss of a child, irrespective of their age at the time of death. This site and its poignant features are designed to stand as a heartfelt memorial where parents can gather to remember and honor the lives of their beloved children.
