Forest Lawn Memorial-Park Association(Glendale) appointed Alan Beard, Diana Ingram and Leisa Wu as members of its board, effective July 26, 2022.
Beard is founder and CEO of Synonymous, a creative strategy agency. Previously, he co-founded McBeard, a pioneer in social media marketing. After McBeard’s acquisition by Fullscreen in 2015, he served as its chief marketing officer. Following Fullscreen’s acquisition by AT&T’s Otter Media, Beard was appointed chief brand officer of Otter Media, now a division of WarnerMedia.
Since 2017, Beard has served on the board of directors for Promax, a global association for the entertainment marketing industry. For the past 11 years, he also has served as senior minister for the Camarillo Church of Christ. Beard is a two-time graduate of Pepperdine University, earning a bachelor’s degree in music and a master’s degree in public policy at its School of Public Policy. He was honored by the latter as “Distinguished Alumnus” in 2009 and is a member of the Pepperdine Board of Regents.
Diana Ingram is a certified expert on cybersecurity who most recently served as consulting services sales director with Oracle Consulting. Prior to her role at Oracle, Ingram served as executive vice president/chief of U.S. operations for Internet Business Technologies. In previous years, she held several leadership positions with IBM.
Ingram serves on the board of directors of Rexford Industrial Realty and the ECMC Group. Her nonprofit board service includes the UCLA Foundation as chair of its finance committee, and Goodwill Southern California, as chair of the DEI committee. Other notable past nonprofit board affiliations include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, the International Women’s Forum, Los Angeles Urban League and Coalition for Clean Air.
Ingram earned a bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford University and an MBA in marketing and finance from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She is a certified information systems security professional, as well as a governance fellow through the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Leisa Wu served in numerous senior executive leadership roles across Warner Bros. Entertainment Group for 31 years, most recently as corporate senior vice president of international finance and strategy. Her prior roles include corporate senior vice president and assistant controller, and divisional senior vice president of studio operations finance and planning. Currently, Wu also serves on the board of community partners and the advisory board of Venice Family Clinic.
She is the audit committee chair at Providence Health & Services Foundation and an investment committee member at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, where she previously served as audit committee chair for four terms.
Wu, a certified public accountant, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and an MBA from the University of Los Angeles Anderson School of Management. forestlawn.com
