Allyse R. Worland, CFSP, of Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East (Indianapolis) is one of 20 funeral service professionals selected as a member of the 2022-23 class of the NFDA National Emerging Leaders Program, which features a practical and theoretical approach to advanced leadership topics. The curriculum, developed in partnership with expert consultants in leadership development, covers such topics as mentorship, ethical leadership, employee relations, collaborative decision-making, strategic planning, servant leadership, communication skills and small-business ownership.

The year-long program starts and ends at the 2022 and 2023 NFDA Leadership Conferences, respectively. In addition to meeting during the conferences, participants will meet virtually approximately eight times throughout the year to learn from experts from both within the profession and from outside authorities.
