Angeleno Mortuariesrecently joined Anthem Partners (Frisco), privately owned operator of funeral homes and cemeteries. The group includes 10 properties in California, including Angeleno Mortuary, Van Nuys; Angeleno Valley Mortuary, North Hollywood; Halley Olsen Chapel of the Valley, Palmdale; All Valley Cremations, Palmdale; Antelope Valley Cremation Service, Lancaster; Halley-Olsen-Murphy Funerals and Cremations, Lancaster; Ingold Funeral and Cremation, Fontana; Fontana Mortuary, Fontana; Crawford Lorenzen Mortuary, Northridge; and Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home, Simi Valley.

Angeleno Mortuaries started in 1997 with the opening of its flagship location, Angeleno Valley Mortuary in North Hollywood. During the next 15 years, the company built one additional location, Angeleno Mortuary in Van Nuys, and acquired a third firm in 2011, the former Lorenzen Mortuary in Reseda. Beginning in 2013, Angeleno Mortuaries grew dramatically, adding additional firms in both Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties over the next 10 years.

Bill Hawkins, founder and president of Angeleno Mortuaries, will become an Anthem consultant. Other members of the Angeleno Mortuaries leadership team will also transition to Anthem, including Glenn Gomez as director of the project management office, Andrew Hawkins as financial and diligence analyst, and Jessica Rodriguez as director of support for southern California.
