Detroit Death Talk recently initiated an ongoing series of discussions about death and dying at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors (Royal Oak). The free event focused on practical and personal details when preparing for death, how to discuss death with loved ones and the importance of personal legacy. Speakers included Detroit Death Talk founder and president/CEO of Beloved, Petra Lina Orloff; Michael Lope, co-owner of Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors; and John Fusik, senior gerontologist at Chalgian & Tripp Law Offices.

Based in Royal Oak, Detroit Death Talk works to launch a new era in which speaking about death will feel natural, comfortable and even enjoyable by hosting open, sincere, honest conversations about the end-of-life process; encouraging public discussion; and creating a natural, relaxed environment.
