The Southern Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association (SCCFA; Kingston Springs) recently launched its Capacity-Building and Leveraging Change Grant Program, created exclusively for state funeral and cemetery associations that are SCCFA members.

The goal of the program is to strengthen the association’s ability to serve both its members and the public with professionalism and care. The program provides grants up to $5,000 to support initiatives that build organizational capacity, foster innovation and leverage change. No cash match is required.

“This is an exciting step forward for SCCFA and for the member associations that serve members of the deathcare profession across our region,” said Jeremy Weaver, SCCFA president. “This grant program puts resources behind our commitment, helping associations build capacity, strengthen operations and expand their impact.”

SCCFA’s grant program is designed to be straightforward and supportive, with a clear pathway from concept to implementation. The association encourages eligible member state associations to submit an initial letter of intent and explore funding opportunities.
