Death Notices

Please email death notices to obits@nfda.org. Please include complete information, along with a contact name and telephone number. If a death notice has been published online, please include a link to it.

If you are notifying us of the death of an immediate family member, state their relationship to the funeral director and affiliation to the funeral home.

Death notices will be considered for publication on the NFDA website and in The Director magazine as space allows.

Anthony S. “TJ” Conte Jr.

funeral director, Conte Funeral Home, North Andover, Massachusetts, died October 15, 2025, at age 59.

Conte graduated from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He went on to own Conte Funeral Home, which has locations in North Andover, Andover, Georgetown, and Newburyport, Massachusetts. He was a member of St. Michael Parish.

He is survived by wife Lisa Burke; children Sam, Anthony, Graceann and Scott; and stepchildren Shannon Everard and Michael Burke.
