Death Notices

Please email death notices to obits@nfda.org. Please include complete information, along with a contact name and telephone number. If a death notice has been published online, please include a link to it.

If you are notifying us of the death of an immediate family member, state their relationship to the funeral director and affiliation to the funeral home.

Death notices will be considered for publication on the NFDA website and in The Director magazine as space allows.

Barry F. Dibble

funeral director and owner, Dibble Funeral Home, Kasson, Minnesota, died April 22, 2025, at age 79.

Dibble attended St. Olaf College and earned a degree in chemical engineering before enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in mortuary science from the University of Minnesota. He returned to Kasson to work with his father at Dibble Funeral Home. Dibble served as Dodge County coroner for many years.

Dibble is survived by wife Patricia; children Lisa, Christopher, Nicholas, David and Matthew; and 13 grandchildren.
