Christopher J. Adams
funeral director/owner, Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Virginia, died July 14, 2021, at age 56. Adams graduated with honors from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He worked for several years with Everly Funeral Homes, becoming manager of the Falls Church facility, and later worked at Green Funeral Home. Adams and his wife became owners of Adams-Green Funeral Home in 2000.
Adams was a member of the Herndon Rotary Club and an extremely proud Washington Capitals fan, as well as a volunteer coach for youth sports.
He traveled with family all over the world, including Israel and Gibraltar and a recent mission trip to Ethiopia. It was on this trip that he discovered the Selamta Family Project, a program that brought orphans into small forever families. Adams was also a strong supporter of Rotary International, Foundation for Fighting Blindness and many other charities seeking to serve underprivileged and unreached groups.
He is survived by wife Kathryn; children Jack, Susanna and Daley; parents Dale and Jo; and three siblings.
