As you are aware, the recent publication of a Journal of the American Medical Association research letter about radiation contamination in a crematory has raised questions among NFDA members about potential exposure and risk. Last week, in a Special Bulletin, NFDA shared the most up-to-date information from the medical community, which indicates that the risk of exposure is minimal and offers current handling guidelines.

To further assist NFDA members with navigating the challenges of this important issue, the association has created a resource page that includes:
