NFDA Seeks Candidates for Board of Directors
Call for candidates is open from January 4 through February 4, 2022.
NFDA is seeking applicants for open seats on the Board of Directors for the 2022-23 leadership year, which begins at the conclusion of the 2022 NFDA International Convention & Expo.
Serving on the NFDA Board of Directors is a unique opportunity for you to give back to your national association and the funeral service profession.
The NFDA Board of Directors plays a critical role in determining the strategic direction of the association so that NFDA can fulfill its mission of being the worldwide source of expertise and professional resources for all facets of funeral service.
You should consider running if you are:
- Passionate about supporting NFDA and the funeral service profession
- Motivated to serve the best interests of all NFDA members
- Committed to listening and collaborating with others to help NFDA remain the leading, largest and most trusted funeral service association in the world
The open positions are: president-elect (one-year term), treasurer (one-year term), secretary (one-year term) and two (2) at-large representatives (two-year terms). The president-elect, after completing his or her term, automatically succeeds to the office of the president.

If you are interested in becoming a candidate, please review the election information and submit a completed application by 5 p.m. CT on Friday, February 4, 2022, to be considered by the NFDA Leadership Development Committee for an open position.
Call for candidates is open from January 4 through February 4, 2022.
The Leadership Development Committee will announce their list of qualified candidates no later than March 1, 2022.
