Plan for Retirement with Help from Roosevelt Investments

November 01, 2021

For Immediate Release: November 1, 2021

Brookfield, Wis. – According to a National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) 2020 survey, 34% of association members plan to retire within the next five years; however, 73% do not have a succession plan for their business. And, when asked what their biggest concerns are for retirement, healthcare, maintaining their standard of living and running out of money topped members’ lists. To help funeral professionals plan for retirement, NFDA is pleased to welcome Roosevelt Investments as its newest Endorsed Provider partner.

“I am happy to welcome Roosevelt Investments as an NFDA Endorsed Provider,” said NFDA President Randy Anderson. “No matter how close you are to retirement – or how much planning you have done – Roosevelt Investments can help you to consider how you can achieve your long-term financial goals and feel confident that you will have the resources you need to enjoy your golden years.”

Roosevelt is a financial planning and investment advisory firm. They advise on approximately $3.2 billion in assets, of which more than $460 million comes from the funeral and cemetery profession as of September 30, 2021. Roosevelt Investments prides itself on working with each client to understand their personal needs and build a long-term strategy to seek to achieve their goals. Clients receive on-going communication from a dedicated Wealth Advisor and its client services team.

Roosevelt Investments has developed the following service options:

  • NFDA Member Exclusive: Core Program: $1,000
    • College Savings/Educational Analysis
    • Social Security Maximization Analysis
    • Cash Flow & Debt Management Analysis
    • Insurance Analysis (Life, Disability and Long-term Care)
  • NFDA Member Exclusive: Plus Program: $2,500
    • Includes Core Program benefits and:
      • Investment Analysis & Management
      • Retirement Savings Plan Strategy Analysis
      • Estate Planning Review
  • Comprehensive Program: $5,000 (available to NFDA members and nonmembers)
    • Includes Core and Plus Program benefits and:
      • Online Financial Planning Portal
      • Comprehensive Financial Plan

As an exclusive benefit, NFDA members can discuss their financial concerns during a complimentary consultation with a Roosevelt Investments Wealth Advisor and learn how the company can assist them with planning for the future.

“We are thrilled to serve NFDA members as an Endorsed Provider and believe our offering is a timely addition to NFDA’s lineup. Many entrepreneurs are beginning to transition their businesses and prepare for retirement,” said Adam Sheer, Co-CEO of Roosevelt Investments. “We are happy to be able to use our decades of experience working with funeral professionals to help guide current owners and those that are selling by suggesting tax minimization techniques that we believe their local advisor is not mentioning as they don’t specialize in these types of transactions.”
