Meet up with old acquaintances and meet new colleagues during the Tour and Welcome Reception at Krause Funeral Home & Cremation Services on September 20.

On September 21, attendees will take part in a full day of learning at NFDA Headquarters with some of the funeral profession’s top experts. These experts are planning dynamic, engaging education sessions covering advancements in technology, marketing, customer service, and managing finances.

  • What Now? The Virtual Reality of Funeral Service presented by Angelique Simpson, Matthews Aurora

  • Premier, Practical, Price-Conscious: Operating Three Tiers of Funeral Service Levels presented by Jacob Waterworth, Krause Funeral Home & Cremation Services

Following a stimulating day of learning, attendees will relax and enjoy a networking reception at the Embassy Suites.

September 22 is the big event! Attendees will board a bus and make their way to Whistling Straits Golf Course near Kohler, Wisconsin, to watch a practice round for the 43rd Ryder Cup Matches. The best golfers from the United States and Europe will showcase their skills on an open, rugged and windswept course set along the stunning shore of Lake Michigan.

At Whistling Straits, attendees will have all-day access to the hospitality tent on the driving range with NFDA-designated tables; access to executive restrooms; shared secure storage area; complimentary wi-fi; all-day coffee, tea, bottled water, soda and lemonade; open bar from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; breakfast service from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.; lunch service from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; and late-afternoon meal service from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Each registered attendees will receive an NFDA-Ryder Cup hat.

Registration fees for the NFDA Ryder Cup Event are:

  • NFDA Member: $799
  • Non-member: $929
  • Guest: $649 (each guest must be accompanied by a licensed funeral director)

NFDA has secured a limited number of rooms at the Embassy Suites for the exclusive price of $289 plus tax. The deadline to make hotel reservations is August 16.

Health and Safety Measures

NFDA prioritizes the safety of its event attendees and will continue to monitor the status of the pandemic right up to and during the Ryder Cup Event. NFDA is prepared to take whatever steps necessary, in accordance with current local, state and national requirements and best practices, to keep attendees safe. As the seminar nears, NFDA will share information with attendees about the specific measures it will take to protect their health and safety.
