As you know, your NFDA membership is designed to help you achieve more in your business, community and life. NFDA’s Advocacy team is always hard at work for you in Washington, D.C., building relationships with members of Congress and enabling them to make a positive difference on issues affecting funeral service and your business.
The NFDA Political Action Committee (PAC) needs your help to ensure that NFDA members are properly represented in Washington, D.C. Your contribution strengthens our voice in Washington by giving your NFDA Advocacy team the resources it needs to act. Your contribution is pooled with those from other NFDA members to make the most impact - 100% of PAC funds are used to support candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives who support public policy initiatives that directly benefit funeral service and small business.
Your donation makes a difference
Here are just a few ways contributions are dispersed on behalf of funeral service:
- $1,000 covers attendance to one PAC fundraiser for just one NFDA representative
- $2,500 lets us sponsor one fundraiser for a member of Congress
- $5,000 allows us to provide the maximum support we can give a candidate (per election cycle)
No contribution is too small
The PAC’s ability to pool member resources means that your donation of any amount enables all NFDA members to achieve more!
There is strength in numbers – the NFDA PAC enables us to pool resources for maximum influence. The more events we attend and the more candidates we can support, the harder we can work for you. The PAC can even support you with funds for your candidate at the local level.
Who can contribute?
Federal law mandates that PAC contributions must come from personal funds - corporate contributions cannot be accepted. Personal contributions are strictly voluntary and are not a condition for NFDA membership.
