1. Certified copy of Death certificate
2. Passport of decedent (or other proof of Afghanistan citizenship)
3. Burial/Transit Permit
4. Embalmer's Affidavit
5. Letter of non-contagious disease
6. Letter from family requesting permission to return human remains and that a transit visa be issued as quickly as possible
7. Casket - no restrictions
8. Zinc-lined wood shipping box
9. No consulate fee
