The HOPE Scholarship is for qualifying Georgia residents who have met certain academic criteria set forth by the state. Potentially, complete tuition may be paid so that a student has no tuition for their time in college for which they meet the requirements. Georgia Funeral Directors Association Scholarship, Independent Funeral Directors of Georgia/Chandler Family Scholarship, Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia Scholarship, and the Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners Association Scholarship are also available. Pell grants and special OTC Foundation assistance is also available based upon financial need.

OGR-Awards of Excellence Scholarship program provides scholarships to students based on strong academic performance. Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited mortuary science school or college; be scheduled to graduate in the calendar year in which the award is given; and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applications are due January 31st of each year. 1-$3500 scholarship, 1-$2000 scholarship.
