Clifford Eugene Harvey

retired part owner and secretary-treasurer of Robinson Funeral Home, Appomattox, Virginia, died December 31, 2012, at age 88. Harvey was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He served his apprenticeship at Geest Funeral Home in Culpepper and worked for Henry Funeral Home in Staunton before serving Robinson Funeral Home for 39 years. Harvey received a Golden Funeral Service License from the Virginia Funeral Directors Association for holding a Virginia funeral directors license for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Appomattox Lion’s Club; charter member of the Appomattox County Rescue Squad; and member, past commander and past adjutant of American Legion Post #104. He is survived by children Paul, Rebecca, Sally and David; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
