The NFDA Board of Directors initiates and develops internal and external policies and strategies, oversees the operation of NFDA programs and resources, approves the NFDA annual budget, and assumes such other responsibilities as may be delegated to it by the NFDA Bylaws. The board consists of 9 members.
NFDA is seeking Board of Directors member applications for the 2016-2017 leadership year. NFDA’s next leadership year begins at the conclusion of the NFDA International Convention in October 2016 and ends at the conclusion of following convention in October 2017.
Open positions are: President-elect (one-year term), Treasurer (one-year term), Secretary (one-year term) and two (2) At-large Representatives (two-year terms). The President-elect, after completing his or her term, automatically succeeds to the office of the President.
