The NFDA Pursuit of Excellence Program is the premiere international recognition program for funeral service, setting standards of excellence that motivate funeral home staff and inspire innovation. Pursuit of Excellence recognizes funeral homes that are committed to providing outstanding service to the families and communities they serve and dedicated to the highest professional and ethical standards. All funeral homes that wish to qualify for Pursuit of Excellence recognition must submit an entry that demonstrates proficiency in six key areas of funeral service, fulfilling a certain number of criteria in each of the categories.
