Funeral director and owner, Breitenbach McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, Middletown, Ohio, died August 26, 2013, at 70. Breitenbach began his 50-year career as a funeral director at McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home following his graduation from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He purchased the funeral home, which became Breitenbach McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home in 1978.
Breitenbach served on the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association Board for six years and was a member of NFDA. He also gave back to the community of Middletown through his service and support of numerous organizations, including United Way, Middletown Community Foundation, Miami University Middletown Foundation, Middletown Arts Center, Middletown Symphony, Hospice of Middletown, Shriner's International, Masonic Lodge and Atrium Foundation.
He is survived by wife Tina, two daughters, four grandchildren and brother Gilbert.
