retired sales representative for Champion Fluid Company and member of the Virginia Funeral Supply Sales Association, died January 12, 2013, at age 89. Leonard served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and received the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in the Battle of Okinawa. He is survived by wife Thelma, daughter Karen, a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
