founder and owner of Carnesale Funeral Home, Hammonton, New Jersey, died September 8, 2012, at age 84. Carnesale was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 186, where served as a service officer for many years. He was also a member of VFW Post 1026 and the DAV. Carnesale was a member and past president of the West Jersey Funeral Directors Association and a member of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association and NFDA. He was a former member and first president of St. Martin de Porres Parish Council and a longtime field officer with the Salvation Army. He is survived by children Terri, Peter III, Donna, Anne, Linda, Gregory, Nancy and Michael; and 17 grandchildren.
