funeral director for more than 64 years and founder of Kidder Memorial Home, Swanton, Vermont, died December 20, 2012, at age 85. Kidder was a U.S. Navy veteran and operated Wood & Kidder Furniture Store for many years. He was also active in many civic organizations. He is survived by wife Elvy, children Stephen and Linda, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren on the way.
