founder of E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, New York, died November 17, 2012, at age 96. Curry served in the U.S. Navy as a pharmacist mate 1st Class from 1943-45 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Boca-Delray Navy League. He was a charter member of the Peekskill Kiwanis Club and a member of the Odd Fellows. He was also a longtime member of the Cortlandt Hook & Ladder Co. 1 of Peekskill. Curry was a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1937 and has been associated with the family-owned funeral home for 75 years. He is survived by son Edward, daughter Nancy, five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
