co-founder of Melton Mortuary, Beckley, West Virginia, died August 28, 2012, at age 94. Melton worked as a nurse at Beckley Hospital for 20 years and for five years as a Raleigh County Public Health nurse. She founded Melton Mortuary in 1951 with her husband and worked there until recently. She is survived by daughters Leta and Bobbi, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
