Curtis A. Capelle


retired Wisconsin funeral director, died September 8, 2012, at age 70. Capelle served in the U.S. Navy from 1959-62 and joined the Navy Club Ship 40 of Kenosha. He was a graduate of Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science and began his professional career as a funeral director with Wittkopp Funeral Home (Plymouth). He later worked with Notbohm Funeral Home (Oconomowoc) and was employed with Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home (Kenosha) for 17 years, retiring in 2005. Capelle also served as one of the first EMTs for the Plymouth and Oconomowoc areas. He is survived by sons Matthew and Bradley, two grandchildren and former wife Bonnie.
