general manager of Mount Olivet Cemetery Association (MOCA), died April 25, 2012, at age 95. Bailey attended Texas Christian University and Cumberland Law School, graduating with a law degree. He joined the Texas National Guard 36th Infantry Division and served in World War II as an assistant to the adjutant general of the 79th Infantry Division and Ninth U.S. Army Headquarters. After the war, Bailey joined his father in the cemetery business. In 1952, he transitioned the cemeteries from private ownership to a not-for-profit and created MOCA, which owns and operates Greenwood, Mount Olivet and Arlington Funeral Homes and Cemeteries. Bailey was a past president of the Texas Cemeteries Association, American Cemetery Association (now the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association) and the Western Cemetery Alliance. He is survived by his daughters and grandchildren.
