funeral director and owner of Thatcher’s Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kansas, died May 7, 2012, at age 102. Thatcher became owner of the funeral home following the death of her husband and was a funeral director for more than 50 years. She was a member of the Missouri-Kansas Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Kansas Funeral Directors Association and NFDA. She is survived by grandchildren Judy, Jacqueline and Robert; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
