officer of Shellhouse Funeral Home, Aiken, South Carolina, died March 12, 2012, at age 38. Shellhouse’s many trials through a lifelong battle with chronic granulomatus disease, a rare blood disorder affecting the immune system, were the subject of numerous professional articles. Her father, Robert W. Shellhouse, owns and manages the funeral home. In addition to her parents, she is survived by sisters Tricia and Breigh, and her maternal and paternal grandmothers.
