Gale Lee Duncan I

retired owner of Ozark Funeral Homes Inc., several Missouri locations, died March 20, 2012, at age 70. Duncan attended St. Louis University and graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He worked for a St. Louis funeral home until 1977, when he and his wife became owners of Ozark Funeral Homes Inc. Duncan retired in 2004. He served as McDonald County coroner for 28 years, was a Crowder College trustee for 10 years, a past board member of Anderson State Bank and president of the Missouri Funeral Directors Association during the marking of its 100-year anniversary. He is survived by wife Judith, sons Gale II and David, daughter Sheryl and three grandchildren.
