Milton O. Law

owner and operator of the Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge, Ohio, died October 8, 2011, at age 80. Law received a bachelor’s degree in 1953 from Asbury College, Wilmore, Kentucky, and graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1954. He joined Bundy Funeral Home after graduation and, with wife Annajean, purchased the funeral home in 1969, changing the name to Bundy-Law Funeral Home. In 1987, son Jim joined the firm and they operated the firm together until Jim assumed the role of president.

Law was a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, receiving his 50-year recognition award from OFDA in 2005. He was a past president of Ohio District 12 Funeral Directors Association and Guernsey County Funeral Directors. Law received the Dick Bryan Fellow Award in 2007 from the Lions Eye Research Foundation and the Melvin Jones Fellow Award in 2009. He served as a director on the local board of U.S. Bank for more than 25 years. Law also served on the board of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center and was a former president of The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. He also owned a kennel, A.J. Boxers, where he bred and showed grand champion boxer dogs.

He is survived by wife Annajean, daughter Betsy, son James and two grandchildren.
