The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is an independent federal agency charged by Congress with investigating every civil aviation accident in the U.S. and other significant transportation accidents. The agency recently released three new brochures, two of which will help accident victims and their families understand the investigation process and other assistance and resources available to them.
