Transport of Human Remains

1. Certified copy of Death certificate
2. Burial/Transit Permit
3. Passport of decedent
4. Embalmer's affidavit
5. Letter of non-contagious disease
6. Casket – hermetically sealed
7. Zinc-lined wood shipping box
8. No consulate fees but inspection is required
9. Use of casket air tray as outer shipping container

Transport of Cremated Remains

1. 1.Bahrain does not currently accept cremated remains into the country.
