Requirements:

Transport of Human Remains

1. Death certificate
2. Burial/Transit Permit
3. Embalmer's affidavit
4. Letter of non-contagious disease
5. Funeral home letter stating: 1) Reason why you wish to ship human remains to Antigua-Barbuda; 2) Consignee's name, address and telephone number; 3) Name and contact information of the funeral home in Antigua/Barbuda
6. Casket - no restrictions however a metal, sealer-type casket is preferred
7. Air tray (wood bottom)
8. Procedure is to work with a funeral home in Antigua. Faxing the documents to them is recommended as they will help transfer the body and work with the Consulate and government to help the process.
