Additional Ordering Information

• Your home study course package (book, CD or DVD + Home Study Test) will be shipped within 10 business days. You may receive your course selection at a different time than the Home Study Test. To earn CE, you must submit your completed test to NFDA for review as directed.
• Priority processing is available upon receipt of a completed Home Study Test within one week of your license renewal date. Priority fees are $75 per individual.

CE Information

All NFDA educational programs and courses are approved for continuing education by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice (APFSP) and most state licensing boards. Check each course/home study test for CE information or contact NFDA or your state licensing board for specific state CE information. Home Study courses are accredited through December 31 of the year of purchase. Your CE certificate will be sent to your email address. When appropriate, your state licensing board will also receive CE verification from NFDA.

Home Study Books are accredited for 10 CE hours each in Category A by APFSP and by most licensing state boards.

Home Study CDs and DVDs are accredited for 4 CE hours each in Category A by APFSP and most state licensing boards.

Exception: The "Embalming Difficult Cases: Donor Cases" DVD course is approved for 10 CE hours.
