As a valued member, we want to inform you that NFDA terminated its member benefit merchant processing relationship with Bank of America today. We are pleased to announce that, effective immediately, we have entered into a new endorsed provider relationship with TransFirst Inc. This new relationship will provide you with a full suite of credit card processing products, outstanding customer service and special reduced pricing just for NFDA members.
If you are currently processing credit card payments with Bank of America, this change should not affect your day-to-day processing. However, you should be aware of the recent announcement by Bank of America of new rate increases that may affect your pricing as early as April 1, 2014.
If you are processing credit cards through one of Bank of America's proprietary terminals, please know that the NFDA has made a special arrangement with TransFirst to replace the terminals at no cost to our members.
We encourage you to make the switch to TransFirst as soon as possible. Time is of the essence, as fee increases from Bank of America begin April 1. To avoid these increases, it is important not to process transactions with Bank of America after March 31.
