New Have the Talk of a Lifetime Campaign Tools: Community Presentation, Media Pitch Letter

As a valued member of NFDA, you now have access to two new tools to help you share the Funeral and Memorial Information Council's (FAMIC) consumer education campaign, Have the Talk of a Lifetime in your community: a PowerPoint presentation and media "pitch" letters.

With the new PowerPoint presentation, you can introduce the Have the Talk of a Lifetime campaign directly to people in your community. The presentation is suitable for use with church groups, service organizations, senior citizens groups and more. The presentation will help people in your community understand why it's important for them to "have the talk" with their loved ones about life and the things that matter. The presentation is not a sales tool; it is purely educational in nature.

FAMIC has also added a tool to help you reach out to the media in your community. Download pitch letters to help you urge local reporters to develop stories for radio, television or print publications about the Have the Talk of a Lifetime campaign, the importance of talking with loved ones and your supporting role in the campaign. Be sure to download the "How to Use Pitch Letters" so that you will understand how to effectively use these letters to reach out to media.
